Fun project, my first Model OO using Maple with a Mahogany neck. I always say the same things I know but this guitar sounds amazing, haha, big and balanced in all the ranges. I'm really happy with it.
Thanks to Paul Schraub photography, Maple is hard to photograph.
Killer bass with my usual strong mids and beautiful bright highs. Lovely light feel to this guitar, I love it!
Two more guitars completed!
Guitar #1

What I’ve been working on…

Model BK! It's such an enjoyable experience to make my BK Model! The larger body gives me a bit more low end while maintaining the killer mids and highs!! This guitar is amazing!!

Kentucky straight-grained Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, German spruce top, Brazilian fingerboard, bridge and tuning buttons.
I built this pair of Model R cutaway guitars using my outstanding Kentucky Brazilian Rosewood paired with sets of very old German Spruce tops which already sport a vintage look. These instruments sound incredible and I’m honored to have had the opportunity to make them. I hope you enjoy the pictures!
Wishing everyone the world over the very best in these trying times!! Thank you to all the care givers and essential workers, words cannot express my gratitude! Another German Maple and German Spruce guitar! 2 in a row and 1 more coming for Lionel Loueke! This guitar has such a warm rich tone and plays like butter. Really fun!!
