Thank you for checking out my NEW ELECTRIC. This guitar was ordered by Charlie Hunter and has three bass strings and four guitar strings similar to his Ralph Novak guitar.  This guitar is based on my Model R cutaway shape; it is 2 1⁄2” deep and 2” at the thinnest part of the lower bout where the top bevel is.  It has a maple block in the center with a spruce block filling the lower bass bout.  There are no sound holes or F holes. The back and sides are Brazilian Rosewood, the top is redwood and the neck is mahogany.  

The idea behind not having sound holes is to cut down on potential feedback common to chambered guitars.  Filling the bass bout while still having chambers in the upper bouts and the treble side lower bout gives this guitar a very nice woody sound while allowing it to be played super loudly. 

I’m very happy with the results and I’m looking forward to making a 6-string version.
