The bridge pieces are designed by Rick Toone, http://www.ricktoone.com/, they are Stainless and Aluminum. The top and back are Brazilian Rosewood, the body is Swamp Ash. The neck is Mahogany and the fingerboard is Ebony. The guitar pick up is made by Jason Lollar, http://www.lollarguitars.com/, and the bass pick up by Bartolini, http://www.bartolini.net/.  Lastly, these killer knobs are knurled and custom made of Brazilian Rosewood by David King, http://www.dknob.com/.

I also got assistance from two up and coming guitar makers in town, Stephen Strahm and Jason Lindsey, I want to thank everyone very much!

Inlay and extra strings

It's been awhile since I've made a 12-string guitar or a guitar with serious inlay; a customer requested both for this set of guitars!  Each of these Model R cutaways have inlay crafted by Larry Robinson http://robinsoninlays.com/, German Spruce tops and some killer Brazilian Rosewood back and sides.

Jeff Traugott Guitars Welcomes new Traugott Players!

Crazy things happen when Raul Midón is on stage alone. With his soaring, Stevie Wonderish voice and percussive, flamenco-inspired guitar style, he's a one-man orchestra who has created a strikingly beautiful body of original songs influenced by jazz, soul and Latin styles. - Andrew Gilbert / San Jose Mercury News 3/29/12

John Mayer's New Guitar

My wife Cori and I just delivered John Mayer's new guitar to his show at the HP Pavilion in San Jose. We had such a great time, John hung out with us for a 1/2 hour, checking out the guitar and playing. We talked about guitars, the building process, design and music. He was so kind and generous with his time! The good news is he seemed to really dig the guitar!! You can check out his blog here.
